I like the moon, but feel it gets a raw deal...nobody wants to watch the moon rise people want to watch the sun set, nobody wants to watch a moon set everybody wants to watch the sun rise. Granted, there's a significant amount of light emanating from the sun and it does things to the horizon like give it a red/pinkish hue that people like more which is probably the cause for all this love of the sun.
When I was a kid I used to like to think that the sun and moon were enemies and that's why they were never out at the same time.

I agree with your dad, nothing beats adventuring on a nice sunny day! Not too much exploring can be done at night in the dark. Plus it's warmer and keeps my teeth from chattering. Courtney · 2012-02-19: 23:32
