Here's a continuation of my MOD series, last entered 28 September 2007. This time around i'm playing with two 580EXII flashguns either handheld or on Manfrotto tripod, triggered off camera using Pocket Wizards. As always, my lens of choice is Canon 24-70L. Photos shot in RAW, go through Adobe Lightroom, to darken the mood. One last thing, all photos taken on a bright and sunny Sunday afternoon.
I managed to squeeze a bit of time on a Family Sunday to organise a shoot, mainly to get my assistant to familiarise and learn outdoor shoot with artificial light quickly. I've been a very busy man lately, while my main job is still photography, occasional weeknights i'd help my friend out at her backpacker's hotel, and just last week, i went back to being a 3D artist / set designer. This after 2 long years of being out of the industry. Nowadays i barely have enough sleep. Working hard? Nah, i just see it as being greedy. But i'm not complaining.
I've been having crazy ideas going through my mind for the past one month or so. I think sleep deprivation makes my mind think of crazy things. I'm so not into those outdoor photo shoots organised by some local photographers' forums or groups. I've always wanted my photos to border on the extreme. To bring out my own style. This month end, i'll be going on a another "trip to my other world". This time around, another theme. Another radical theme. For those interested, you can drop me a line.
