This is an extremely powerful collection. After working many years in social services,I can vouch that domestic violence is often over looked and women are pushed aside and blamed for not leaving, when in fact this is not possible. Unfortunatly the U.S. is far ahead of Canada when it comes to domestic violence and their laws protect battered women and men far better with less risk results from prosecution. One of my last clients before I switched careers was told by the police that "You have legs, you can run." She had been trapped in an absive relationship for eleven years and had tried to leave several times but had no where to go and he would hunt her and find her. This is so sad. I can't thank you enough for bringing this to light. Who knows, you may be encouraging someone, or saving someone who doesn't know what to do. Well done.
