Your zoo trip looks very successful ... useful tips ... I find the giraffes intriguing ... I like the angle .. sky is a little dark though ... the monkey is just adorable (mesh and all) ... nice set. Did you like the movie?

I think you have made it politically correct to post zoo pictures! Two things that often get negative comments are zoos and cemeteries. I love your #4.

Definitely something that makes me like others want to head to the local zoo [which yes, I do have mixed feelings about...] However, shot eight is adorable and the editing on the pachyderm is hilarious. Love the De Niro line too.

Mmmm didn't know you got mozzarella from north American bison... but I would pay good money to see you try and milk one!

I`d like to complete your thoughtful list of great hints for a successful zoo photosesson in forum: don’t take your 4 years old child with :-) reg. stativs: sometimes its nearly impossible to carry with (crowd, mad kids around, lots other stuff to carry) but up to about 1/10 of a second free hand works too, using other means to have steady hands. I`ve got lots of zoo pics but didnt find them worthy to share, you`ve changed my mind, I`ll post some in future. thanks for the inspiration.

Of course being one of the greatest method actors of our time DeNiro has made it his business to be able to pass himself off as any living mammal.

Fortunately for photographers more and more zoos have a more natural habitat for the animals... I think not looking caged is most important. #1 is my favorite, so grand.

I enjoyed the 1 and the monkey. I admit that an otter would have made a nice addition (primarily because they are one of my favorite zoo animals). I assume they hid paint in the little elephant's food :) Kudos on the pictures. Our zoo closed other wise I could spend days shooting there.
