This Halloween we had a great plan to have our students decorate pumpkins. "Decorate" is the key word as knives (carving) and school don't mix well. Unfortunately, our plan (to do this project on Oct. 28) was thwarted by an unseasonably strong snowstorm. But, since we had already picked up about 150 donated pumpkins (from Grant Farms north of Wellington, CO) we decided to still do the pumpkin decorating even though Halloween had passed.
So, we decorated pumpkins today. It was great. We had some creative designs. These photos are some of the students in my Advising group working on their pumpkins.
