How can such a gorgeous day end with such ominous skies?

I popped outside toward the end of my work day to see if the sky was its usual rainbow and was a bit disappointed to find that there was only a touch of peachy-pink. I took a picture anyway though because the clouds, despite a lack of varied palette, looked pretty darned sweet.
