It actually came in closer once, but I didn't have my camera out. :( The closest I'll probably ever be to a B-17!
There were WWII airplanes on display at our local airport today. I had planned to go see them up close and get some good photos, but I ended up having to work a second shift at K-Mart today so I missed out on that. But in the brief time I was home between my shifts, I did manage to snap this one flying over. (You could ride in one for $475.)
