The Lemange

2007.02.22

I completely went the wrong way about this.

What I should have done is taken a picture of the lemon and just selected and colourised the bits I wanted orange.

But NO - I had to take a picture of the orange, then the lemon, cut out the orange and the lemon and combine in one image, transform the orange so it was the same shape as the lemon, clone in the bits where the lemon didn't quite fit the new orange shape. - apply layer masks. - reopen lemon images, copy and paste under Lemarange image, adjust, move, rotate and genarly f**k around till it looked like it kinda fits.

and to be honest it looks nothing like what I was aiming for.

Still you live and learn.....

photopoet Yes. I love the shadow—such a subtle color. The composition and color seems perfect partners.

JuliaGotz Yeah, I thought lemon mange, not lemon-orange.
It looks to me like a lemonraffe: lemon giraffe mix.

The things we spend our time on!
