Seagulls
2009.07.24
This is at Mission bay, san diego. I was very unthreatening with my movements so I could get up close enough to get this sharp picture. The background is a accually vibrent, blue water. The metering of the camera exposed the seagul and the sand correctly, which makes the brighter water white.

This is my first photograph of a wild animal... that actually turned out well. This was not planned what so ever... I took this being certian that there was going to be nothing in the frame. *Whoa!* Interestingly, this is not a crop. At full zoom (300mm), this seagul fills the frame easily. This was at dog beach at ocean beach, san diego.

Some place in oregon... doing the same thing I did in the previous one. I had no Idea what the picture would look like. With the way-to- slow shutter speed, the seagull flaped it's wing while being recorded by the non-motion-sensing camera. I tweaked the blue ocean into a greenish color. I always liked this mistake the most out of all the mistakes I have made with my camera.
