Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu Valley was once a lake in prehistoric time, the water of which was drained by a great sage named Manjushree by chopping the south hill and drained the lake.
presently it is the capital of Nepal.Although the alluvial soil is great for agriculture...rapid urbanisation has left no place for grains...!!
