This was one of the cooler points of the hike. It was hard to tell with all the mist/fog but it seemed like the world ended past this small rock outcrop.

So, after failing to find my calling as sushi dish washer and climbing wall supervisor I feel I might have found a job that I can not only enjoy but also that might pay the bills... I started just this past Friday working as a guide for Decision Point Rehabilitation Center here in Prescott. Thus far it has been an great experience and I am looking forward to working for them for a while to come.
Our first day hike was in 45 degree mist/rain which was nearly canceled by the folks in charge. Thankfully, James, a fellow guide who has been around for a while managed convince our higher-ups it was a good idea.
And it was, although the photos look somewhat miserable, those nasty days are some of the best to be out.
We had a burly crew with us and we cruised 8 miles and some change in about a half a day... Not too shabby...
