This photo is really fun to look at. I love the contrast between the textures of wood and water: splintered and rough, verses soft and glowing. The same sort of contrast can be seen with the straight, patterned verticals of the wood, verses the random, chaotic diagonals of the angular beams on the right. But besides all of those technically intriguing details, the photo has a magical quality to the light that is really special. Excellent composition, exposure, everything. The long exposure works perfectly. Oh and I found another beautiful contrast: between warm colors and cool colors! Beautiful!!!!
