That is such a sad story. Poor Gelert. He's buried in a beautiful spot though. I love the motley crew you included in #5. The last is a wonderful photo of the village nestled in the hills.

Wow - a poignant tale, certainly. I'm not sure who I feel more sorry for - Gelert or Llewelyn. These are beautiful shots of the countryside and the village. That green in the first shot is wonderful!

Wonderful tribute to a loyal friend, such beautiful country side. I was wondering if in a future post you might take a shot of that old stone church. I love old churches and this one looks lovely. Superb shots as always.
