lexlevans oh i definitely think color! gives a warmer feeling and it seems like a warm and friendly place.
lexlevans · 2007-12-06: 13:25
????? I do prefer b/w too. I think there's not so much distraction...

hellovicky I prefer the color one. It looks natural and breezy! :)

Gallone The B&W flattens the scene. We are looking at a bar, full of life and action, in this case the use of color helps to communicate that excitement .
Color makes it look like a warm, inviting place. This is not a good shot to work with B&W contrast manipulation and tonal range, it would simply make the scene appear more cold and gray.
Color makes it look 'natural' and by association, welcoming.

peregol Nice view

Cabecilha not important... it will always be N. Y. :)
Cabecilha · 2007-12-06: 14:59
DancingDolphin Color.... much warmer, has a nice 'feel' to it. The b/w seems flat to me, not enough contrast going on, no place to focus.
DancingDolphin · 2007-12-06: 16:04
carmitage Colours ! I prefer the coloured one, softer to my eyes
carmitage · 2007-12-06: 16:07

sunshineand · 2007-12-06: 19:54
Gallone Higher contrast color would make it more like an Edward Hopper painting...
Gallone · 2007-12-06: 20:35

BlueLady Colour would be used if you wanted to advertise the place as warm and cozy .... But b+w ... for me ... is making a statement about city life or everyday people or .... whatever you want to see in it!
Thanks for your comment :)
BlueLady · 2007-12-07: 06:35

Genevieve I agree with BlueLady that it depends on what you want to communicate.
