It's good that you still maintain a sense of humour. You should be glad that you're living in a democratic country even the worst politician dare not ignore the people's power.

APPLAUSEEE !!!!!!......... Politics sucks ... they show so much about ilegal votes.. but yet when it comes to E.U countries they have the ability to hide the dirt very well...Corruption rules ... So why so many rules for new countries to enter the E. U , when most of the E.U countries are full of white collar crimes ?!?!?!... don´t let them shut you up!!!! People need wake up to reality !!!!

Ahhhhthe beach and good for you, and good luck. Politicians all have the same goal, to better their own standard of living at everyone else expence and yet convince the masses, that it is the other way around.

Beautiful, colourful beach scenes! As for the election results... There is always disappointment on politics. Sooner (after the elections) or later (some time after)! No matter how bad a politic is, there is always a worst one... governing!

What a fascinating piece of writing. I had no idea. The feeling of helplessness & frustration, when it comes to elections & politics can be so overwhelming at times. I hope good change is in the future for you. I always would tease that I'd love to just throw my children on a plane with a few suitcases and go live in the quiet countryside of Europe and forget about the ridiculous politics of the U.S. Time for me to openly admit what we all already know...there is no utopia.

reading your words just now actually gave me chills. the notion of dangerous or ill intention people running someone's country is hard to come to terms with. especailly a country such as yours or mine. i am not a political person, but i can sympathize with your concern and vigor to fight for what you believe in. interesting photos to go along with this tale. it's very much the portrait of southern california life and apathy as well. thanks for sharing, as always. ^_^
