Good for him. When I travel I go out of my way to find & visit people who do native crafts from the area. Fortunately, I find that people are beginning to realize the value of these skills and bringing them back to life. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed he is, a rarity in times where profit margins and speed of production are more important than quality. Wonderful photos - his body is as expressive of his occupation as the boat he is working on in the shots. :)
