JASMINE

Jasmine or Jessamine (Jasminum) (from Persian yasmin "gift from God") is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family (Oleaceae),with about 200 species, native to tropical and warm temperate regions of the Old World. The majority of species grow as climbers on other plants or on structures. The leaves can be either evergreen or deciduous, and are opposite in most species; leaf shape is simple, trifoliate or pinnate with up to nine leaflets. Jasmine tea is also very efficient against coughs, sore throats or other problems to do with the bronchites.

This big hedge is just right of the entrance of the building where my apt is and it's a pity you can't feel its strong marvelous scent...

when I was a child my school was full of this plant, we played to make bracelets and crowns with it, but i never knew nor wondered what its name was,,,so Jasmine...

Lovely , my Jasmin has pink tinged flowers but is rather faded now, which reminds me I'll need to water it.

I have one in my garden. It's climbing up my balcony and in the summer mornings when I drink my first coffee of the day, its scent keeps me company.
So I know exactly what you 're saying :)
