A Flat White - Sydney

2007.12.30
The New Zealand Flat White.

A white coffee similar to a cappuccino but with much less froth. The top is often presented with a design in the froth, a heart or fern is quite common.

The coffee in New Zealand is served strong and fresh, is great tasting but takes too long to arrive. A ten minute wait is not unusual. It often means you have eaten your muffin long before you get your drink.

For non-milk lovers there is the short and long black, a bit like a not so strong espresso.
