the photogs for the AIDS Walk in Boston. We had a bit of a heat wave last week & I almost melted into a greasy puddle on the sidewalk.

I thought that the walk, like the run would only be 5K...wishful thinking. It was 10K, HOT & incredibly humid! I was pretty tuckered at the end of this & still had to lug myself & gear home to start editing. Great turn-out despite the heat though & for everyone that donated, volunteered, walked or ran...you guys are super wicked cool!

Powered by Photoblog.com

By far my favourite bridge in the Boston area. And on a cool spring night, there were few people to interupt me as I photographed. I'm really looking forward to slightly warmer nights to photograph, as I've spent some time scouting out potential areas.

Ended up being a bit of a long day with a 4 hour stop-over in Frankfurt. I just spent my time wandering back & forth through the terminal & cleaning out a small section of Milka from one of the duty free shops.

On the way back to Boston, I sat next to a really lovely gentleman who was on his yearly vacation with his family. He had never been to Boston before, so I swapped seats with him so he could see the city as we approached...this is the very reason I always choose a window seat when I can. And it is just the coolest thing to see someone else get super excited when a new city & adventure are in sight!

We ended up chatting about a lot of things & travel of course was the bulk of our conversation.
