Yah. This is a mixed media piece of ink and colored pencil. Several more layers to work through.

Ezekiel 38: 21-23

  "And I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains," says the Lord GOD. "Every man's sword will be against his brother.
  "And I will bring him to judgement with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many people who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
  "Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord."

“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

I enjoyed the waves,..... I miss the ocean. This is some combination of the water or wave feature and two other concepts, that of angels all around us and the vortex. The second image is inverted through editing and is really quite interesting. I'll look forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Some words came with this image...
I had recently come across the Night of the Red Sky Prophecy by Stalking Wolf and what touched me was the discussion in the graveyard about the purpose of ones' life - whether it was dedicated to the needs and desire of self or whether the gravestones marked the spot of someone that had really made a difference in the real world of spirit. Days later we were driving through a cemetery and the head stones asked the question again - What are you doing with your life? Do you serve yourself or Jesus, The Master?

Moments of the Forgotten
Forgotten dreams, Forgotten lives
Forever lost in the vapor of time
Tombstones mark the decaying vessels
Which way did they turn?
Did they have eyes to see and ears to hear?
Or were they dead before the lid closed on their lives?
An Angel mounts up on wings of water
Reaching for the sky to the Creator of all
Following a child of the Father
Gently assisting within the softness of a breeze
Walking in Spirit, in Truth with One at the helm
Forgotten dreams, Forgotten visions
Lost in the transition to time
Searching to remember the beginning
The purpose, from the end
To once again walk with Father
Forgotten no more.

This is a process of working different areas and deepening the contrast to bring out a richer drawing. I will post the next update as this drawing nears completion. The quality of these images and others are limited as I have an old 150 dpi scanner for digitizing work.

A Day at the Beach reminds me of how much I miss the ocean and the flow of the waves. Three parts entail the content, one of sky and Spirit, flowing with fire, one of the flow of the ocean and water, purifying, and the third is that of the ocean sands, dust of the earth.

12.18.2007
Uploaded additional images that have come out of this drawing. If my scanner happens to be working, I'll typically scan in a drawing in progress or at completion (depends on the scanner) and then do some digital editing, just playing around.

Powered by Photoblog.com

Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that they might give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty-handed. Again he sent another servant; and they beat him also, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed. And again he sent a third; and they wounded him also and cast him out.
“Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Probably they will respect him when they see him.’ But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’ So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do to them? He will come and destroy those vinedressers and give the vineyard to others.”

And when they heard it they said, “Certainly not!”
Then He looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written:

      ‘ The stone which the builders rejected
      Has become the chief cornerstone’?

  Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”

- Luke 20:9-18

~~~~~~~~~~~~
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- John 3:16
