My brother died two weeks ago. He had always been really handicapped, but somehow I felt as if I knew him well - I know that I did. It's been hard and I can still cry about it, mostly because I've lost one of the most gentle persons I've ever known, but life must go on. I haven't been posting many entries the last days, and this is why. But still... everything can't be sad. I've still got so many fantastic people around me every day to make me smile.

Oh, when I got outside this morning, the sky just looked amazing! I ran down to the beach to catch the light while it was still as beautiful and I think that I did it. But it would have been a little bit better if I had noticed it just 5 minutes before I actually did. When I had taken the pictures, I just sat on the beach. Alone. Probably one of the best ways to start the day. ^_^

When the snow came.. and disappeared

I'm back from Eurosonic in Holland. It was pure awesomeness and I'll make a short entry about it tomorrow. First I'd rather post some pictures from right before. The first day with snow where I live. ... or... night, but still. The next morning the snow was gone and people I know are suddently making a couple now. It's kinda cute. Especially when you've got someone yourself. I do. How lucky. (:

Absinthe-filled Parkinghouse

And me. There's no actual connection between the two pictures. I caught the one of the absinthe-filled parkinghouse (actually it was just green lamps) in december 2006 and the other one yesterday. Right now the sound of Den Sorte Skole (Lektion #1) is filling my ears and my mind. I'm going to Dutchland with Pølz next week. It's gonna be SO great. Mmm... Festival in Groningen! Holiday's over. Gotta go back to school on monday... but thursday to sunday, school is the last thing that I'll think about. ... Á propos Den Sorte Skole... listen for yourself. It's pure pleasure for your mind. Danish turntablism/oldschool/remix-stuff which sounds kinda like italian café-jazz, pure oldskool hiphop, Janis Joplin, Bjørn Svin and a mexican desert, totally emtpy for everything but rocks, gravel, cacti and dry grass, that's just burning in the sun while you are laying in a hammock in the shadow with a big hat on and something nice to drink.
