I got new shoes today. Some lo pro eras and tigers. With these shoes I'll be able to kick a ball into space, climb trees really fast, get better at video games, catch cicadas, make good sushi rice, draw awesome stuff, learn cool songs on the piano, fix my bike, master the harmonica, build a table for my room, complete my pokedex, finish knitting the scarf I started last winter, and maybe even dunk!!!

This week I saw the wonder years, shook ones, we are the union, the lost tourists twice, and aneirin. Too much of a good thing? Maybe.

Three of my favorite bands played the same show. The Wonder years, The Lost Tourists, and Littlefoot. So good.

or whenever snowboarding starts. I think it's on the 4th. Anyway, I spent all day at work today. Had my bike in my car from last night, so when no one was in the store, mom and I rode around. After work I rode to pitcrew to buy my night club card for snowboarding. Corbin was working, so we sat outside on a bench for a while. I've been waiting for January 4th since last March! I hope I have as much fun as last season. Though it will be hard to beat.

I was looking through some pictures from last winter and spring tonight and found the pic of a pair of vans I painted for a friend. I kind of forgot I made these. It was my first time painting shoes, but I think they look pretty sweet. The second picture is of the sketch I did for the shoes. I liked the way I drew it, so I wasted more time and inked/colored it. Then I was up all night trying to finish the actual shoes, haha. The third drawing I drew tonight. I really don't know what inspired me to draw a mean octopus, but enjoy. And the last picture is a classic. It's a drawing from my younger years. Mom kept it all this time and found it the other day. Man, I was really into violence back then, haha. That dude has a sword going through his leg!!

Another nice day. I went to work this morning, but all I had to do was ten minutes worth of website updating. The rest of the time I spent reading Animal Farm. Dad and I talked a bunch about going to shows and taking pictures. I told him all about what I wanted to do with it. He was very pumped. Ditched work early and went to a show at the refuge. I was so happy to go because Continuance was playing and I was going to try out my new camera. I took a bunch of sweet pictures, but I didn't get to edit them yet (photoshop decided to give me sass). I'll get to it tomorrow though. Anyway, it was so nice to finally see an actual hardcore band, especially after months of going to screamy type shows. Continuance was excellent! Their set made me so happy. I met the singer, Dylan, afterwards. Super nice guy, but I'm jealous of his sweet tattoos. When I came home dad was still up, so I showed him the pictures from the show. He looked through them and said "You did a great job tonight. I'm way proud of you". Man, just a few words like that will probably keep me going for a whole week! It's what I live off of. Amazing new friends, the few kids who refuse to give up on me, and the old dude who knows exactly what to say--you are the air in my lungs!!
