I'm attempting to learn to ID the various sorts of bee that come into my garden. It's not easy! If anyone thinks I have made mistakes, I am very happy to be corrected.

The bees get covered in the bright orange pollen. Look like they have been celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi when everyone throws bright coloured pigments.

Lilium pyrenaicum or Lilium pyrenicum (Pyrenean Lily, Yellow Turk's-cap Lily, Yellow Martagon Lily) is native to montane regions, mainly the Pyrenees, from Spain and eastwards, with the range extending into the Caucasus. It grows up to 1.3m high. It bears up to 12 Turks-cap shaped flowers. These are yellow, orange or red, and unpleasantly scented. There are a number of things I disagree with in the above piece taken from Wiki. They grow extensively in cottage gardens in North Wales (not sure about the rest of the country) and the scent I really like, although my friend says that to her nose it is like the smell of a fox! Whatever, it is a stunning plant, and it does really well in my garden (and that is all that matters really)
