Bullied

Words hurt and kill. Don't be a bystander. This photo is of a victim who endured over a year of bullying. She is a good student, has friends, an amazing musician, has a supportive family, never has drank, done drugs..... However, bullying has sent her to a very dark place. This photo was created as an exercise to take back her power. It worked. The words on the background are what is said to her every day, 5 days a week for over a year.

As a football photographer who started out shooting my sons sports you grow to love other players. Some of these boys are like my own who I couldn't love any more. One of those boys passed away two days ago. Tyler was a gentle giant off the field and an animal on the field. I loved him like my own. Today I'm grateful to be a photographer because I have hundreds of photos to give Tyler's parents. Thanks for looking

We've adopted our Labradoodle Fiona's Mama Ting a few months ago. Life has not been the same having two crazy doodles under one roof. They are so naughty, but in a cute way. They remind me of Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Dr. Suess.

This is the head coach of my son's college football team. He's the most amazing coach my son has ever had and that's saying a lot. He's molding each and everyone of his players to be fine upstanding men. He lives what he preaches. He's amazing and I'm so happy my son is part of his team. This is a shot I got of Coach leading his team through the tailgate area before a game.

The fun thing about shooting high school football is sometimes you get the honor of shooting a super talented kid. I'd say this is the most talented kid I've ever shot and I adore him! He's a tight end, 6'7", 245lbs and can jump higher than any human I've ever seen. He's ranked in the top four nationally for the class of 2011. Before he set foot on the field as a 10th grader he had many offers. This season he's a junior and below I'm going to list the schools who have made offers. Oklahoma Arizona Arizona State Boise State California Florida Miami (Fl) North Carolina Notre Dame Oregon Oregon State Stanford UCLA Washington Washington State I do believe he'll have a USC offer soon. The only disturbing thing about this is somehow the recruiting sites get my pics and watermark them as their property. Grrrrrrr.....
