Okay, so I keep saying I'm going to post more & then don't for a month or so... what can I say- it's summer & we should all be outside enjoying this scorching weather!! although today is finally a nice day in toronto. Here's a few pics from my recent trip to BC, Canada.

Okay, cheesy title I know :) I took this shot just south of Queens Quay & Bathurst in Toronto on Lake Ontario. I actually was trying to get a shot of a plane coming in for a landing at the Toronto Island Airport... and got this shot instead!

Luminato

I took these shots at the Luminato festival at harbourfront in Toronto. If you live nearby you should come & check it out, the event runs until June 10 & is very cool. http://www.luminato.com I took these shots without a tripod & had to manipulate them a bit in photoshop to make them look halfway decent. If I get a chance I'll take my tripod over before the end of the weekend & try & get some better shots. Each of those blue light beams pulse with the beat of a participant's heart who is holding handle bar sensors at the base of the beam. Such a cool idea.

I've been super busy lately... which is hard since we've been having such amazing weather the past couple of days & I've been stuck inside for much of the time writing a statistics exam & trying to put a dent in my dissertation proposal... so I finally took a break tonight & took some photos while the sun was setting in my neighbourhood. 1.
