Early of this month I capture picture of all my fridge magnet from countries like Japan, Dubai, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong showing them to everyone in photoblog... It is very hot in Malaysia... so hot that I choose not to go out and stay under the shelter... I think I love cold weather country more... what about you?

Hat Yai, Thailand - The Pubb

both days in Hat Yai, I visited this pub... they are extraordinary warm and friendly... the second day we reach the pub when they are about to close and the band offer to sing us another 3 songs before they call it a day... sweet... Special thanks to the lead singer Roland J for making my trip a memorable one... and also not forgetting the entire band for their superb performance... Love the guitarist a lot and I think your skill are great... I really hope you guys can see this blog...

Hat Yai, Thailand - Temple Visit (Day 2)

continue... temple visit (Day 2) We woke up early to visit the temples around Hat Yai... Wat Hat Yai Nai- Hat Yai, Thailand (Sleeping buddha) the golden standing Buddha and 2 more temple which I cannot recall the name... As usual, once we are done with the day tour, we took a simple lunch before we continue with more shopping around the hotel and then dinner... there is nothing much of sight seeing places in Hat Yai... nothing much to do also but lot's of shopping... and relaxing yourself at the local pub... and yes... we had another Thai massage and headed to "The pubb" again the second night...

Hat Yai, Thailand - Hansa Cafe (Day 1)

continue.... we felt so refresh after the massage, We continue with "Ah Gua" shows at Hansa cafe... Ah Gua??? well, they are basically male that undergo surgery to become a female... or I should say even more beautiful than female... look at all the pictures above... We then headed for a local pub called "The Pubb" enjoying the live band and some beer... the people were very warm and friendly... I will have a dedicated post on this later. We truly enjoyed the night especially with the live band performance. It was a night to remember and I will always visit this pub again whenever I visit Hat Yai again. we party into the wee hours and had some chit chat with the "escort". They are all very nice people and mean no harm. one of them even introduce us the famous local food. we sleep very late that night around 4am but not tiring... I guess it must the the Thai massage... to be continue with temple visit tomorrow...

Hat Yai, Thailand - Bazaar (Day 1)

Hat Yai, Thailand (27 - 29 June 2008) Participants: Bryan and wife, Ricky and wife, Boonz and me I did not sleep the whole night as my flight to Hat Yai was early in the morning at 7. Thank God I manage to pull it through. we reach Hat Yai around 11 in the morning and without wasting time, we headed for Mc Donald for their "Samurai Pork Burger" before we continue to the Bazaar for some shopping... Many of you will ask me, why fast food? shouldn't I have tried the local food instead? Well, the reason is because in my country, Malaysia, pork are not allowed. So, we can only eat pork burger in Thailand.. that's why... Once we are done, we took a local transport, "tuk tuk" to the bazaar and started shopping... by the way, the tuk tuk cost us 20 Bhat/person Things at the bazaar are really cheap... as low as 100 Bhat per shirt... in terms of the quality, erm... well, you know... don't expect much for the bargain you get... There is also lot's of local street food at the bazaar... and one of my favourite was the mango sticky rice... love them... after a long and tiring afternoon, we headed back to the hotel for a Thai massage, 300 Bhat for 90 minutes...
