Here's another place we're looking at for our wedding. The freeway noise in between the ocean view and beautiful lawn puts a damper on things. There seems to be something kind of off about every place we've visited, even though there are also a lot of pluses.

We were at my parent's house this past weekend because they've been out of town, and got to enjoy their backyard. They've recently landscaped it and it has grown in beautifully.

I've been bad and haven't uploaded anything in a while! I guess being busy is my excuse, but a lame one. My fiance and I have seen some wedding venues, including this one. We like it a lot but it definitely has it's pros and cons. We have another appt. this weekend and I'm hoping to make a couple more.

Ok so as we're looking for wedding venues, I'm realizing (like everyone has told me) that things add up! If you want these chairs over the plane jane white wedding chairs, it's $975.00 extra!! Crazy.

So my camera batteries died again. AND I had bronchitis. There. Excuses done. I'm back! Since I've been gone I've been to San Francisco and back to visit my besties, and my fiance and I have just visited our first wedding venue which was really nice and is on our list. It was built in 1905 and restored in 2003.

There are lots of things to look forward to this summer, like wedding venue scouting, a visit to San Francisco, my dear friend in for the 4th of July, my Granny's memorial service, a luxurious trip to Maui, and lots of time at the beach and pool! Work? How does that fit in? I guess it has to in order for any of this to happen!!

I'm moving forward with my business, and have completed some tasks that have been nagging at me for quite a while, like opening a bank account, finishing my logo and stationery, getting things all sorted out with city tax registration and blah blah blah. Now I have to create a web site and find some more clients!

I went to the pool today to swim some laps. It felt so good. Even though it was crowded and I was sharing a lane with 4 other people including an older man who kept swimming into the middle of the lane, it was still worth it!
