I was so proud to share in her special day. She has such a glow about her and looks absolutely beautiful.

I'm back...
I got too caught up. Caught up in travel, vacation, work, relationships, just life in general. I became overwhelmed and uninspired and hit a creative rough patch. My boyfriend recently took me to the photography convention in NYC; the largest in the country. He took me to become inspired, to remember what it was to free flow with ideas. He also told me, he was upset I wasn't updating my photoblog and he always looked to it and showed it to his co-workers to brag. These simple gestures made me realize I needed to get out of this "slump". I am so grateful to him and love him so much. I missed my photoblog too. I hope that in the coming days and weeks I am able to work more on my photography and feel less overwhelmed by things that probably don't matter as much as finding happiness in things you love.

Did you know that Alaska has the highest civilian percentage of both motorcyclists and private pilots? These planes are a major way that many Alaskans use to get from place to place. I have heard it is rare to see them in August but thankfully I caught a glimpse. They left just as quickly as they came and were absolutely magical. I saw them the same night as the meteoroid shower and was also lucky enough to see some shooting stars. I felt extremely lucky and would love to see them again

Powered by Photoblog.com
