Fierce dog and cute dog. I'm suffering from a lack of inspiration, hence dog shots! The second shot is badly out of focus but I like his expression. I've been pushed for time so I will be going through everyones pics tomorrow.

It was really foggy last night, by the time I got home I had no energy to go out, so I took a shot of the street lights lighting up the fog from inside! I loved the artificial colours and could not resist boosting them.
The second shot is a reworked shot from this shoot:

I just love working in the warm end of the spectrum. The fog inspired me to do a digital artwork revolving around similar conditions and colours.

I've got film noir in my blood!

1. Light and shadow on wallpaper. I like the bird type shape in this pic, did not see it when I shot it, gotta love those happy accidents!

2. Hello to all the photobloggers! Although, it looks like I'm doing 'I'm a little tea pot, short and stout'.

3. Late afternoon sunlight. At this time of day the light hits this spot, I realised that the light was echoing the shape of the door in the distance, hence the composition.

4. MId way up stairs. At the bottom is the garden in shade, upstairs it is sunny, I love those sorts of contrasts.

Powered by Photoblog.com

I thought the first shot kinda looked like huge alien trees growing on the horizon, but somebody said they looked like fireworks and I prefer that interpretation. The second was took momentarily before I jumped of a rock and fell. I (instintively) protected my camera at the expense of my ankle, which made a horrible snapping sound...Oh well, you gotta pay for your passion!

Powered by Photoblog.com

There is little of photographic value to shot in this area, but the sky is always interesting to shoot. So, here are 3 views on the night sky showing how different it can be from one night to the next.

1. My very first HDR shot. I've only got the trial software, but I may upgrade as a lot of my shots would benifit from HDR.

2. The stars! Orion in particular.

3. Blue sky at night.

I adore the colours you get on a long exposure, never quite sure how they will turn out, and I love the mystery of that.

Powered by Photoblog.com
