Post-packing

I've spent most of today cleaning the bathroom, trying to find spots in almost-completely-full boxes to fit small random objects, and sweating. My hair is a wreck, I'm not wearing makeup, and I feel icky, dirty, and dusty. But, almost everything is in a box, and those things that aren't will be tomorrow. My mom's coming up, even though Friday is my last day. It's going to be so good to talk to her and to eat a meal with another person, versus by myself, even with this huge fear of being suspended hanging over my head. I just can't wait to be out of here.

This is what I've been doing all day. Fiddling around on my favorite site (sorry, Flickr) on my browser of choice. But can you blame me? I have six days left here, and only two exams. Both of which require no studying. So, what do I do? Read and dick around on the internets.

On days I know I'm going to have nothing to do, I sleep. All day long. In the past 24 hours, I've slept from 7 p.m. Thursday to 5:30 p.m. Friday evening. It's a bit ridiculous. Once I wake up, I usually read. Today I finished reading The Golden Compass and started The Subtle Knife. Yep, it's been a productive day. This photo bears a striking resemblance to day 75. Breakin' out the flip flops

Today is b-e-a-utiful! It is officially time to break out the flip flops. That, and I shaved me legs this morning, and I'm feeling a bit... frisky. I would have taken this outside, but it looks like it's going to rain. :( Also: Today I found out that I have EIGHT days left of class, instead of the original FIVE. My final exam of the year is actually three days past what I originally though. Damn. That's the only thing that sucks about today. Otherwise, it is perfect. :)
