This was an old indoor swimming pool at one time. It is about to be demolished to extend the building it is currently connected to. I had the chance to photograph it before it goes away.

I Started a Goose Fight

I looked out the window this afternoon and saw a goose family with some new goslings in the yard. I grabbed the camera and some bread and headed out to take some pictures. When I got close and started throwing bread to get them to come closer I saw that there were two other goose families close by and they wanted some bread action too. Well three groups of geese with new goslings in close proximity to each other is not a harmonious thing. Two of the geese went after each other for about a minute. Why can't they all just get along?

Bon Voyage

After taking photo's of some dead flowers yesterday, I was wondering what I could do next. I came up with the idea of putting one of the flowers on a small piece of wood and floating it in the pond by our house. I wasn't impressed with the results at first. After dinner when the sun was setting I looked outside and saw the flower had floated away a bit. Went back outside and shot a couple more.
