One Headlight - Inspired by pattyb

Thanks for the inspiration Patty! Your picture #3 inspired this one. Jon's grandmother put some dirt and a plant in this headlight back in the 50s - same dirt - same plant. It used to hang in a tree in her backyard. We now have a little bit of this plant growing everywhere. Its king of cool and a little bit of history.

The first bloom of my new lotus. I had a different variety years ago and killed it. Stupid me, I just had to repot it and then move it somewhere else. So ... this one is in the pond right where the first one was happy!!!

The Discovery

Ok, so a year ago I got a new toy for my birthday. A fogger for my pond. I took it out of the box over the weekend finally. I wanted to finish a few things before the pond was "ready" for this addition. One thing I had to add was a bridge to get to the other side where there is a small deck next to the pond. Sabrina hasnt spent much time over here unless I carried her over on previous trips to the other side. Last time she was over there the fish were tiny. This time, she noticed something new. I'm glad Jon had the camera in his hand at the time.
