My camera's dead, Olympus won't reply to my emails, so I'm stuck in this photoless limbo with no updates here. It's really affected me more than I'd though it would. The part of the summer where I took photos every day was amazing. Now it kind of bites. It doesn't help that I'm working this 9-5ish office job that pays miserably well. So I'm a bit of a shell right now, but I really need the money. It's funny though, the more money I make the less money it feels like I have. Car doesn't help matters. Anyways, once I get a camera I'll start this again. Until then, I'll float on.

Powered by Photoblog.com

There's lots of knick knacks and 95% of my books, plus all my [non-pirated] CD's. I guess I'm more of a book collector than a reader. Love in the Time of Cholera is taking me forever to get through. It doesn't help that I started working today. This will probably be my favorite job. It's at the market research firm my mom works at. Petite shifts, easy work, and it's NOT FOOD SERVICE. It's about time I get out of that. So yes. Bookshelf.

Powered by Photoblog.com

Today the family and I went to the Street of Dreams, where the middle class pay the rich to walk through their mansions. Fuckin ironic, though their houses were quite nice and I enjoyed walking through them, I won't lie. Later today I went to the beach with Caitlin and people and that was funnnn even though mother nature kicked my ass briefly in a big wave resulting in a scraped up shoulder. I won't hold it against her.

Powered by Photoblog.com

Caitlin and I drove to Tampa to the Obama rally. It was incredible. I feel like a giddy fangirl. And I didn't bring my camera in the arena! *kicks self repeatedly* All I have are some horrible shots from my camera phone. But afterward we went to St Pete beach and these are my sandy toes. God, if only every day this summer could be as amazing as today and yesterday!

Powered by Photoblog.com

I am serious, and don't call me Shirley. David and I hung out alll day and it was wonderful because we hadn't spent any time together in over a week. We slept and ate and drove and went to the airport and took pictures of planes flying directly over our heads. Like up-close about-to-land kind of planes. I freaked out the first few times because it's like, o god big death plane heading right at me looud! but I got a few good shots. My camera's auto focus is really slow or something because it was hard to get the timing right. Plus the burst feature only get 3-4 pics at a time. But it was so much fun. I've always loved going to the airport.

Powered by Photoblog.com
