Camera Phone Frog

Took this one with the camera on my Droid Incredible to test it out (8 megapixels!) and also to test out the mobile upload to the blog and all worked pretty well. :) Found this guy while cleaning stalls and snapped a few before letting him go. It's a titch blurry cause I was crouched down with wet shaky hands from too much coffee trying to do this with a phone attached to headphones running up the back of my shirt. I'll take it, though. Proves there's potential to have some fun with this camera. :)

We had a candle with a natural wood wick. It crackled when it burned and smelled like pine since we didn't have a real Xmas tree. :)

Rained this morning so I missed my ride, but it let me get some water droplet shots. I was having a hard time staying steady crouched down in awkward positions and my tripod was otherwise occupied, so they're not as clear as I'd like.

These are from August from one of my best friends' wedding that I had the privilege of being matron of honor at. Since I was busy during much of the procedeings, I didn't take a ton of photos, but tried to catch a few here and there when I could. I'm taking some new photos, but while I'm off from work I've been mostly trying to avoid the computer since I spend my life in front of it most of the time. :)

I am so sorry to all my Photoblog friends for the unexplained and extended absence. I had a couple rounds of being sick and a whole lot of focusing on other artistic venues and business ideas while I was lacking in the inspiration and motivation department for my camera. These are a few of the pieces I've been doing lately in Photoshop. All painted, experimenting with brushes and techniques and so forth and my Wacom tablet which I couldn't live without. I do still love natural media, but I admit it is quite nice to be able to CTRL+Z use layers and go back to previous versions on the computer, as well as the fact that the cleanup is MUCH easier!! ;) Save, close, exit, shut down, done. I am gearing up to coming back to PB, if not every day then at least every few days!! I have a lot of catching up to do so bear with me!!

In the knots. Maybe not quite as sharp as I'd like, but it was a slow shutter speed and I may have been 3 beers in so I wasn't super steady ;) I still liked it, though. Finally current, at least on the posting end of things. Now I have some work to do on the viewing end of things.

Catching up still. I've been trying to redesign, reorganize and relaunch my design website and other than that spend more time away from the internet the last week or so, so I'm woefully behind on posting. Thank you so much to everyone who has been stopping in and commenting. It's really very much appreciated! Instead of replying to each individually, I'm putting out a big thank you to everyone. :) The comments are wonderful and they make me smile when I sign in. I have some catching up to do!
