Ewww

This icky little guy was right by the handle on the back porch door when I got home today - I nearly grabbed him when I went for the handle! So as I recoiled with an "ewww", my first thought was... ooh! I should take a picture of him! I don't know what's wrong with me some days! Anyhow, he was very still and I think they turned out well... creepy, but well. :)

Tonight I cleaned at PetSmart like I do every Wednesday and this little guy, Larry, was there. At first glance he looks like a plain orange tiger, but he actually has black hairs all throughout too. It's really cool! He has a couple of black patches, a few black whiskers and then random black hairs interspersed through his hair - he almost looks dirty! It's hard to see in this picture, but you can hopefully see the black whiskers and a black spot on his front leg! Then we met up with our friends Liz & Dave at TGI Friday's for dinner. They're moving to Florida very soon so we wanted to get together with them one last time. It was really great to see them and we had fun, as we always do. The food was delicious too! :)

Tonight we grilled out for dinner - yummy!! We had corn on the cob, and some grilled onions along with the Spinach, Fontina & Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage that I picked up at Trader Joe's in Columbus. Trader Joe's is also where I picked up that fun beer for Joe... perfect, don't you think?! :)

(These are actually from yesterday, but he deserves his own post) I went to see new baby Jaxon in the hospital today!!! Let me tell you, I've loved this baby far before he was born, and now that he's here, I love him even more. All along I guessed he was a girl.... sorry Jaxon.... but he's so perfect and wonderful that I can't imagine him as anything but a boy now, heh. He looks so much like his daddy too! :) My close friends Lindsey & Justin are so lucky to have this wonderful baby and they have as many hours of baby-sitting from me as they could ever want. Congratulations to them! What a perfect little family they have now! <3<3

Today we shopped for a few things they needed at Wal-Mart and ate the sweets that we bought at the bakery yesterday. YUM!! Then I made Brandon & Ali stand out front of their new place for some pictures. :) :) And then, we had a tasting with the caterer that they want to use for the wedding. I didn't take any pictures there, but the food was very tasty!!!!

Today my parents and I trekked down to Columbus to help my brother move. I'm sad to see him move away, but I'm happy that it's not TOO far and happy that he and his fiancee can actually live in the same city for once. :) Once the heavy lifting was done (that part only took about 1.5 hours, yay!) we were able to explore a little and have some fun! :)

Tonight we went with our friends Nick & Mari to a benefit dinner/concert for Sylvania schools. None of us have anything to do with Sylvania, but Nick's coworker is in the band that was playing and he put us on the guest list! It was at a cool outdoor venue and they had lots of yummy mexican food and decently priced drinks too. It was a good time. This is the confetti that was on the tables. Cute. :)

Tonight we went out to dinner with my parents & brother to wish him well on his last night living in Toledo :( Afterward, we stopped over to Joe's parents to have dessert and visit. We had yummy peach cupcakes and saw a pretty rainbow too. :)

This is the sign outside a school near where I work. Each week (I think?) they put a new group of students' names to welcome them to the upcoming schoolyear. Today it caught my eye because of one name...... Chawkat.... I can only guess it's something ethnic, but I giggled. I don't know if it's even the correct pronunciation, but I say "Chalk Hat". heh

Today while I baby-sat, we decided to play in the dirt!! We had to do baths anyhow, so I figured why not have some fun and get a little dirty!! We had lots of fun 'digging for treasure' and building houses and even having a little 'campfire'. hehe. Aren't they precious?! :)
