8/22: Today I got a call from my friend Wendy that she was taking Cole (my godson) to get his haircut just a couple of minutes from our house. So I swung over there to say hi and spend a few minutes with them. They are growing up SO FAST and are about to start Kindergarden now!!!!! EEK!

8/19: Stopped by BHS on the way home from work to snap a couple of pictures again tonight. Then it was over to the in-laws house for dinner. Kim & Chris were baby-sitting for their little neighbor boy, so in addition to the girls, we had Seth too! He wasn't too sure about it all though, haha.

8/18: Well, that big storm sure did pour a lot of water into our back hallway. Can you see how high that bucket filled up? And that's just from the water leaking in (through the light fixture) over one night!! :( The roofers are supposed to be out yet this week, hopefully, so we won't have this happen again!!!! On a positive note, the rain is helping our grass seed grow along the back of the house. So yay for that! :)

8/17: So this is supposed to be a picture of the radar of the HUGE storm rolling in to where we are, but also a picture out the front door where it was still nice and sunny. You can't really tell, so just trust me on this one, hah. Our roof at home has started leaking into the back hallway... through the light fixture no less, so I say Boo to big storms!!!

8/16: Today was Jaxon's first birthday party!!!! He was SO cute, dancing around and laughing and clapping, and then really, really enjoying his cake. :) :) It was held at Justin's Parents' totally awesome house. We dangled our feet in their pool, jumped on the trampoline (and found out our bladders are nearly too old for that much bouncing, lol!) and ate yummy food too. :) Oh, and then I went home and tried something new for dinner - meatballs on a loaf of garlic bread with cheese on top then baked. Delish! :)

8/15: Today was Cass's birthday party - yay!!!! The Hairy Buff was definitely awesome, and the fruit was STRONG!! Chad's reaction to eating an apple (see above) should tell you that, haha. And more pictures of them tearing down BHS too. It's so crazy to see it disappearing. :( :( But how awesome is it that there was a rainbow right over the school while we were there. :) :) :)

8/14: Today I went over to Cassie's house so we could prepare our Hairy Buff for her b-day party tomorrow (yay!) The first picture is of a car that I was next to at a red light on the way there that was seriously CRAMMED with stuff. I doubt that's even legal?!?! But I digress.... our Hairy Buff recipe of vodka, peach schnapps, apple pucker, strawberry boones farm, sprite and hawaiian punch is a definite winner. Oh, and of course apples and grapes and pineapple. YUM :)

8/13: This is the super awesome frame that Molly made for me!!!! She made Cassie one and me one and she gave them to us when we stopped up to see her on the way up to our tubrewing trip. She's so crafty. :) :) :) Oh, and this is a NOT super awesome car that I saw today. What are people thinking when they do this crap??
