Back story: for going to the Harpoon Brewery in Boston, they give you a booklet as a "ticket" to get into the tour. The book is filled with facts and history of the company. On the very last page they say "get it stamped in both our breweries and get a free glass". So I thought that would be cool to do. Lo and behold....an opportunity arose to go to Vermont the very next week. Vermont also has a "brewery passport" (they take there brewing seriously there) where they stamp which of the 27 breweries you've been to. While I didn't go to 27, I went to 4. And a few other tour filled places in Vermont! Very much worth while!

Harpoon Brewery (Boston, MA)

for $5 you get to tour the Boston facilities of Harpoon, third largest beer producer in New England (Anheuser- Busch and Magic Hat are numbers 1 and 2 respectively). You also get a sampling glass, yours to keep after drinking many samples. About 3 during the tour, and as many as you want afterwards from their bar room for a half an hour. Its an excellent tour if anybody is on the South Seaport in Boston looking for something to do!

this is the end my friends. This stuff stocking chock-full of gifts from Santa Claus is the last picture of my 365 photo a day challenge. It's been fun, and I'll be updating from time to time with my awesome antics, so no need to fear! p.s. my stocking was so heavy it couldn't hang anymore!

I tried fooling with my aperature on my camera to get a dark shadow shot, and it wasn't working out too well. So I had to settle for a black and white shot of my hat. Lame, I know. One day I'll figure out all the gadgets on my camera!

I met Santa Claus! I saw him! And luckily my 2 or 3 year old self was smart enough to get a photo taken with him for proof that I met the man from the North Pole!

anybody want frozen yogurt? the place I recommend is Orange Leaf, it is self serve (including the toppings) and it is pay by the ounce. Which you get quite a bit for your money's worth!
