I've actually started to use these coins and don't really mind it so much.

The odd part is the reaction I get from cashiers. A couple people have questioned if it's U.S. money. Uh...there's a former president on the front...the statue of liberty on the back...and the words "United States of America" on it...what do you think?

Powered by Photoblog.com

I made use of the sale, but now I have about a bazillion reams. If I ever manage to finish writing a first draft of a play or musical, I shouldn't have very many problems using the paper. I just need to start writing...

Powered by Photoblog.com

I was walking around and saw boxes and boxes of instant noodles and decided to buy a box.

I happened upon this box, with a variety of flavors. I thought it would be good to try out a plethora of different dishes, so I purchased the box below it. When I got home and opened the box...it was filled with one flavor.

So...I'm wondering if the box I saw in the market was a sample (and I picked up the wrong thing) or it was just a random box that people threw stray bags in. Ah well...I hope I end up liking the flavor I ended up buying!

Powered by Photoblog.com

Today, I didn't venture very far, as I snapped a shot of what was lying on top of my monitor. Needless to say...I don't change my decorations or knick knacks around too much...since Halloween happened a long, long time ago. At least it will be apropos once October rolls back around. ;)

Powered by Photoblog.com

I guess being born and raised in the U.S. makes me a little too Americanized. ;)

But...as with most cuisines...I really like noodles. Here's a close-up view of some pancit palabok. The dish consists of rice noodles, hard-boiled eggs, shrimp, shrimp sauce and crushed up pork rinds.

With food such as this, you can see why Filipinos end up having high cholesterol. =P

Powered by Photoblog.com

I want to try out new things, but buying stuff at Costco means buying in bulk.

The Fuze drinks seemed promising...especially w/ the selection of flavors. Unfortunately, I have a tendency to pile too much junk on them and the tables never get folded back up again. Since it was only the second meeting, there's not really much to report there. I spent most of the class waiting to saw a piece of metal and then annealing it a million times. Hopefully it will be soft enough to work with next week.

After class, a friend and I headed to a local tea shop. I fear that you may see more pictures of this shop than you would ever care to imagine.
