So my whole family has been on this juicing kick. I decided yesterday that I would also give it a try. Honestly I do feel more awake and energized. I really hope that this was not a bad idea for me, I like it so far and it has been wonderful, although it has only been one day... More updates to come!

A New Semester as an Accounting Major

This is my 4th year as an accounting major. I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it seems like the harder the class is, the smaller the book is plus $200 more expensive. I know that I speak for all college seniors, but I seriously cant wait until this year is over. Life is moving so fast and will be really starting after graduation. When I was younger I couldn't wait to grow up, and now I wish I could go back to those days. Having all of this responsibility gets stressful sometimes. What happened to time? It has all flown by so fast! If only I would have listened to my parents when I was younger. I should have enjoyed my childhood a lot more than I did.

Life Changing

6 years ago today I lost my best friend. My whole life really did change that day. I honestly never thought that I would recover emotionally from it, but I have. I miss her everyday, but I have learned to cope with everything that has happened.

A New Year

New Year's Eve is always a party at our house. It was really nice to end the year with family. My family and my husbands family get along so well. I am truly lucky to have such a wonderful family. I couldn't resist sharing the party pictures, what little I have. :)

Working at a Hotel Can Be Hell

Not only is it exhausting standing 8 hours a day with sometimes NOTHING to do, but it can also be emotionally exhausting. I have had the room key cards thrown in my face several times. Which does not hurt, but does get irritating when you have to take it with a smile. Not only do you have to smile about everything, you also have to apologize for everything. Even if it's not your fault or something you can't fix. It really wouldn't be so bad, but when a hotel is busy things are bound to go wrong. Someone may not have A/C in the summer, the keys may deactivate while they are out, or the internet may run a little slow. Some things like the A/C and the keys are easy to fix. But when a hotel is sold out and everyone is online at the same time, the internet is going to be slow. I just don't understand why no one uses their common sense! After spending 8 hours dealing with angry people it is not easy to want to come back to work the next day. Also when you get yelled at all day it is really, really hard not to be mean to your family when you get home. I find myself taking it out on my husband even though it's not his fault. I wish that I didn't do that,but I can't help but get it out after apologizing to angry guests calling me incompetent, while just smiling through it all. I am going on 3 years in the hotel industry, and I can say one thing for sure, I will NEVER work in a hotel after college. I work here for one reason, to pay for school.

We went to San Antonio. And he took me to Sea World for the first time. It was so much fun!
