EH-101 Merlin at Hospital

Finally managed to get the PoAF EH-101 landing on top of the Funchal Central Hospital helipad. What a great view, seeing this big bird coming in from the sea, heading your way.

Moving away to get into the circuit, after the first passage. WOW!! It's one of the two CSAR Merlins. Still hadn't got any of them. Lots of heads looking through the windows. On the first one after the cockpit, someone is also taking photos.

The only area without buildings around is to the west and to the south (although there are some buildings to the south, it's mainly small houses).

Sorry for the not so good quality but the crew member watching for the window is a nice point of interest. Yellow helmet (is it the recovery guy? The one that goes into the "soup" to get people in distress?). Notice also the patch he's wearing, not the one from Sqd.751 (operating the Merlin) but the one from Sqd.552 (Alouette III)
