Venice is more than just the city. There are lots of islands and locations around the Laguna that are well worth the visit. The way of transportation? The Vaporetto!
|
After a whole day navigating through the Laguna, it was time to go back to Venice at the end of the afternoon. We were far and the trip was still gona be long. Not much people on board but it was a very nice trip as there was a lot to see and much beauty in it.

Looking back trought the Italian flag we could see our track in the Laguna and the "street" marked by those wood poles in the water.

Besides marking the 'streets' in the Laguna, birds also find those very usefull.
|
In Venice (and around) everybody rides a boat, just like we drive a car...
|

As we were aproching Faro we were getting near more populated areas with more 'roads' marked in the laguna. The sun was getting down quick and the night came fast but it was a journey to remember...
