Was going for a drink when I saw this little bird coming in on short final to runway 36. And it was something I had missed just a week before, in Madeira.

Yes, it's a Sqd.504 Falcon 50. Stoped on a technical scale, during lunch time, before proceding to Lisbon.
The week before I had missed it while it was at Madeira, during a mission with a medical team for collecting organs. It's not unusual those kind of missions. They come with a medical team that goes to the city Hospital to collect the organs and then take them back to the mainland for the final transplant. If you ask me, a far more important mission for these planes than the Goverment VIP transportation that they also do... |
