Not knowing the context of this shot I was wondering if you intentionally had the right hand side of his face (left as we look at it) in soft focus? His left eye and the hair are sharp which gives him a somewhat manic look. Colour of the shot is lovely. Well done. You get to photograph some great people

I did intentionally use a very narrow depth of field to focus the viewer on Bills eyes. He is a very talented actor in NYC and was clowing around one evening at my home. We ended up using the shot in Time out New York to promote a monologue on spiritual drug use that Bill was giving. It's so much fun photographing actors. They do most of the work for you!
