Buddha!

The sun was behind this giant building when I took this photo, so I had to mess with it a bit so you could actually see it. The colors are little off, but hey, whatever works.

I just realized this photograph looks just like the photograph of a statue I posted a few entries back... I guess I like the composition? Ha.

This flower was lying perfectly in one of the statue's hands. I thought it looked purty.

A little trinket someone left for Buddha.

This is the bottom of a (HUGE) reclining Buddha's feet. To pay respect to him, people have stuck coins onto him using gold leaf.

This place was beautiful. I felt like I standing on top of history. There were dozens and dozens of Buddha statues, most were very old.

It's nice the way people pay their respects. I've seen that before with other statues.

Very nice set , Now you make me think of passing by that place next time i go home to my country..lol! i like most the hands of Buddha with the flower on it..that place is Sacred..I know BB ( 2colors) is from that place.. , thanks a lot for sharing... Best regards , rob
