We escaped North Dakota. It got even *flatter* the further we went into it. And western Minnesota looked like it had been *ironed*.
Nearer to Minneapolis, where we're staying with friends tonight, there started to be some hills again.
I didn't get a picture of my friends--because I stink at people pictures unless they're of Patrick--but I did get pictures of the cats Sunny and Sherry. Sweet kitties, both!

Oh, it does look flat there! I like your reference to being ironed. It's always the mountain life for me.
