June 23: Sunrise Over Laurel Lake

When I lived in this town in Maryland before I moved to Montana, I thought it was hopelessly generic and mostly ugly--the unfortunate side of Anytown, USA.
But there are some really pretty things here--the sky is often incredible, the trees (at this time of year) are lush and green, and the lake (really an impoundment) has ducks and geese and herons and cattails and reflects the sunrise quite beautifully.
