I realized yesterday evening that a) what with one thing and another (no sunlight, mostly), I hadn't taken a picture for the day and b) I hadn't taken a selfie for September yet.

So that seemed like a pretty obvious choice for a picture. :D

I took a picture of myself while I was painting a watercolor sketch.

The sketch-page with the cricket images is in honor of the cricket who got into our place on Friday evening and didn't leave until Monday morning. I'm not a huge fan of bugs (to put it *very* mildly) but crickets get a pass because they're cute and harmless and I like the chirping. That said, I still wanted him gone at the first opportunity. But he was a pleasant little houseguest, chirping behind the washing machine for two days, so I made a drawing in watercolor pencil. :D

Nice selfie! You are very patient to give a cricket a pass. There was one in my office once and it about drove me crazy. I could not concentrate on anything else! I finally caught it and took it back outside. Keryl · 2011-09-30: 19:38
