My first day at my new job--I got to work after the building was open and my boss (hereafter referred to as BD) had told the guards that I was coming so they let me go on up to our floor. But I was the first one there and the office wasn't open yet.

So I took a picture of the lobby...this is outside the Court of Appeal's courtroom (the courtroom entrance is behind the potted palm). There's a skylight/dome/atrium that has an opening all the way down to the ground floor. The portraits on the walls are of former Chief Judges of the Court of Appeal going all the way back to the 1800s.

I tried to get a picture of my office, but it didn't really work.

It was a really good first day though and I am very happy with and excited about my new job. I think it's going to be interesting and fun and challenging and that I'll have really nice coworkers. Everything a job should be.
