We went traipsing through the wilds of Guanxi, got accosted by a recalcitrant water buffalo, saw lots of farmers out prepping their fields for the spring planting, had that lunch with the staring chicken head and visited a quarry on the top of a mountain where I gave thanks to God that I was born where i was and not in the wilds of Guanxi.

When we got back to Liuzhou, we went for a quick walk so we could say we'd seen more of the city than just the hotel lobby and I decided that for dinner that we'd eat the noodles we'd seen hanging out to dry all day...... so that is what we had.... Local noodle soup stuff.
