Crayfish plague, Račí mor

This is a hyfa of Aphanomyces astaci - Crayfish plague (Fungi) on the carapace of invasive crayfish Pacifastus leniusculus. Please note the melanin border of hyfa, which is immune reaction. Many crayfish day due to the plague every year in Czech Republic.
