Day 38 - A New Way East

A few years back, a friend of mine extolled the wonders of Virgin Atlantic Airlines. But, since I've never been to Europe, I hadn't been able to confirm how good the company was. Luckily, with the creation of Virgin America Airlines, I finally had the chance.

I'm not exactly sure how its Virgin Atlantic counterpart works, but I really enjoyed the "mood lighting", with its calming pink and purple colors. Like so many of the new planes...they also had a TV for each seat. Unfortunately, mine wasn't working. Ah well...at least that meant more sleep for me on my red eye flight to New York...
